Damask Designs

Well as everyone is back to work after the Christmas Holidays I still have today off and don't return to work till tomorrow (Tuesday), so I have been holed up in my Katerfly Creations Studio trying to keep my stash of cards up to date. Over the last couple of days I have been playing around with Dawn McVey's Damask Designs from Papertrey Ink.

First I have "Jot this down....I love you". I was just playing around with one of the individual Damask stamps and stamped it randomly around the card front using Versamark, Chocolate Chip Ink (SU), and Fresh Snow Pigment Ink (PTI). At first I didn't like how the layering looked, but now as I look at the card the damask shapes layered look like a Chrysanthemum. The sentiment reads "Jot this down" from Papertrey's Take Note stamp set, and "I love you" from the Damask stamp set.

Ingredients:
Stamps: Damask Designs (PTI); Take Note (PTI)
Ink: Versamark; Fresh Snow Pigment Ink (PTI); Chocolate Chip (SU)
Paper: Ocean Tides (PTI); Chocolate Chip )SU); Rustic Cream (PTI); White (PTI)
Accessories: Scalloped Edge Punch (SU); EK Success - 2" Large Scalloped Circle Punch; EK Success - 1 3/4" Large Circle Punch; Ocean Tides Saddle Stitch Ribbon (PTI)

Second we have "A Damask Birthday". This card uses the largest individual Damask image. I built my main panel, added some saddle stitch ribbon and a sentiment. Voila!

Ingredients:
Stamps: Damask Designs (PTI)
Ink: True Black (PTI)
Paper: Balck (SU); White (PTI)
Accessories: Black Saddles Stitch Ribbon (from Micheal's)

Thirdly we have another Damask Birthday.

Ingredients:
Stamps: Damask Designs (PTI)
Ink: True Black (PTI)
Paper: Scarlet Jewel (PTI); White (PTI); Black (SU)
Accessories: Scarlet Jewel Swiss Dot Ribbon (PTI); Scarlet Jewel Vintage Buttons (PTI); Scalloped Edge Punch (SU)
